This will be short and sweet.  Amy graduated today, and I just want to very quickly celebrate this year.  She had some major challenges, like getting stuck in a wheelchair for a couple months.  But, for the most part, she ran, she played, and did everything the other kids did.  She went on every field trip, she made great friends, even did a gymnastics event and enrolled in ballet for a time. All this, and she only requested pain medication from the teacher TWICE all year.

But the thing that makes me proudest, the thing that makes me smile most? Her performance at graduation.  Seeing her hop up and down, spinning in a circle, and being just as happy as can be – PAIN FREE? That, right there, is my everything.
