So here we go again!
This is Carly, Amy’s new orthotist. (5th time is a charm!)
Within 2 minutes, we knew she was a better fit. After looking at the last two braces, she decided it was best to remake the brace. She shook her head a lot at the brace I showed her. “Wow,” she said, “This one has a lot going on, doesn’t it?” I didn’t tell her that the plan was already going to be remaking the brace- I wanted to see what she said first. So, it makes me happy that we were of one mind. New brace in 1.5-2 weeks.
On top of that, she modified Amy’s latest brace to make it a little better. She suggests using the princess one if possible. But if she won’t tolerate it, she can use her pre-surgery brace.
Finally! I feel like we’re in a good place with a good provider. ??
