Delivery Day for Brace #5… and the jury is OUT.
I find it interesting that the front part ends higher than any of the others to date. Interesting isn’t the word – how about a little disturbing?
The pattern, “Cool Girls” looks adorable on pink padding! Also pink socks, which arrived yesterday! Woot! (We have pink, purple, and black now. Hopefully that will be enough variety- there aren’t any other colors I like!)
This brace has the front piece go inside of the main brace, and it also covers LESS of her leg. That’s different from the last one. Previous braces were on the inside, but attached all the way to the foot. AND the Velcro fastens with glued on tabs? PLUS, it’s also significantly shorter overall, and a PAIN to put on. Mama is not happy. I’ll decide tomorrow if I’m going to insist on riveting them on or not.
Overall though? It’s cute!
