Well, the last repair lasted 6 days, so at least the glue held a little. But obviously, we need help. So first off, I scheduled I scheduled a visit with our orthotist at Hangar for a little brace TLC. Among other things, we’ll get the straps replaced, maybe redo her wedge? And guess what? They have pink Velcro in stock! But we won’t see Carly until the 19th. So what can we do today? Superglue!

So, here’s where we stand:

Then I lined up the pad on the brace, but somehow it looks too big?

So I glued it down, and realized Amy’s Dad wasn’t kidding. This glue gushes like crazy!

Next time I’ll get the gel. ??

Once it dried and cured (about 30 min) I handed it over to Amy’s Dad. He trimmed it up all pretty for her.

Once it was all trimmed off, he used 800 grain sandpaper to clean the edges.

And now, viola! Same size, fused, and in one piece. Hopefully it will hold until the 19th.
