Since the x-ray, we’ve been thankfully free of the cramps that hurt her so. However, mornings continue to be a struggle. She complains of aches and pains, and limps terribly. Then, in latter parts of the day, she seems fine, running, jumping, and dancing. As I write this, I seem to remember having similar issues at daycare last year. Maybe it really is just the weather? But she goes from not wanting to walk at all in the morning to this, in the evening:

That’s my girl!

Then last night, I noticed that the no -slip foot was peeling off again. (Ugh.) So, Amy’s Dad superglued it back on. (Superglue because it dries fast.) That’s when we noticed it was broken. Again.

It’s broken is just about the same place as always, but on the other side. Laaaaaaaame. So, looks like it’s time for a new brace!

This design is certainly a record breaker though: 5 months, 2 weeks, and 6 days from delivery to break. That blows our previous 6 week record out of the water.

So, November 28th is the day, and we’ll see what fun designs we have to pick from. Maybe we’ll even design at home so we can take it in. There’s a really cool creation station available to kiddos who get their braces through Cascade DAFO. We’ve never walked in with a design picked out, so maybe that will be fun!
