I want to talk about “success”. If our definition of “success” is maximum function with minimum pain, then today, we still have it! Amy is 2.5 years old, and it has been 8 months since our diagnosis.  Despite the original warning that her tibia would break within the year, there is no break yet! (Knock on wood)

We both still have a lot to learn, but today, she’s braced, intact, under the care of a fantastic doctor, and in no pain! We’re taking one day at a time, and life has its special challenges, but we’ll meet them head on as a team!

Amy loves jumping in puddles!
